My Pursuit

My pursuit to 
find who’s in the mirror

obscured
with perceptions

as is
my reflection

moments that shaped me 
sustained me 

scars worn
proudly

these 
Gods I fight

as I rise from 
a valley of deluded dreams

the reality 
a comforting weight
