What Have I Done?!!

OMG, what have I done?! I saw Ron’s post about NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Writer’s Month) and on the spur of the moment, I signed up to participate! Yikes!

I haven’t been doing much writing of any kind lately. I could say that I’ve been busy. I could say that work has been especially busy and stressful lately. I could say that I just don’t feel inspired. All of these things are true.

But what it boils down to is my priorities. I know this. I need to Make The Time to write. I have not been doing this and because of this, my muse has gone on strike. She snubs me.

So, here I go. Write a poem a day, every day, in the month of April? Sure! Why not? It starts tomorrow!!

If you would like to participate in the insanity, the NaPoWriMo’s website can be found HERE. The rules are pretty simple and the only one you are accountable to is yourself. So Come On! Let’s do this!

  1. My poetry muse has been a bit erratic lately too, Penny. I have just been to busy with my historical novels and other writing and reviewing of books to give her any mental time. Good luck with the challenge.
