Mirror #writephoto

Looking within
is never
easy

We lie to
ourselves
all the time

What do I see
when my inner self
is reflected back?

The mirror
not always kind
showed the darkness
within

The Spirit
pulls back that shroud

Extending a hand
to lift me
cradle me
love me

Serenity
calms the pools
of reflection

The Window of
Promise
cleansed
