Above, you will see the completed look of my kitchen after painting the walls and cupboards. I LOVE the new look of my cabinets! Painting the doors and drawer fronts took forever! The walls AND the cabinets all needed 3+ coats of paint! And there are 2 sides to every door! If you missed my first 2 posts about this process, you can find the 1st post HERE and the 2nd post HERE.
Above is another photo of my completed kitchen transformation. If you look at the counter tops, you’ll see a lot of green in it. That was the reason for the decision to paint the walls the pretty spring green. Originally my cupboards had no pulls at all. I found some self-adhesive ones that worked out great! I didn’t want to have to deal with drilling all those holes. I love the look of the new pulls!
Another view of the kitchen. During this process, another change is under cabinet lighting.
I had always wanted a window above my kitchen sink. I thought that this was the perfect spot for part of my collection of vintage plates. The window blinds is another change that I made to the room.
The color green and the presence of birds are a recurring theme in my kitchen. I’m pretty happy with that theme.
A view outside and a couple more of my vintage plates. I hope you’ve enjoyed following along with me during this project. This project was much bigger and more involved than anything else I’ve done on my house. It was a Lot of work, but so worth the end result. I love my new kitchen! But I do think it’s going to be a while before I tackle another large project here.
Above, a before and after comparison.
Another before and after above.
As always, thank you for joining me on this journey! ❤
