The Cursor’s Assault

The cursor skiddered across the page with deliberate purpose.  As it dragged me along for the ride, I watched in horror as it snuffed out his life.  It was merciless and I was unable to stop it.  The callousness with which it struck was appalling, yet I was forced to witness the brutality.  I was powerless to do anything but watch as the cursor concluded its bloody assault.

My heart is pounding.  My hands shake above the keyboard.   I add the final period, hit Enter and end the scene.
