Dear Earthlings

I reblogged this once before, but after a snarky comment, I took it down.  After thinking about it, I am reposting it.  This is a Great Post, worth reading.  If you don’t like anything on my blog, you don’t have to look at it.  If you have comments, please keep them civil, as I do moderate comments before they post.

I am not best pleased.

  1. The truth may offend some people sometimes, but it remains the truth. Besides, you do what the heck you want with your own blog as long as it doesn’t harm people. Great post.

  2. Reblogged this on Everyone Else Has the Best Titles and commented:
This is a reblog of a reblog. Unfortunately, Penny got a really disappointing comment for reblogging this satirical piece and I applaud her for defending her right to post it. It really frosts my feathers that someone left a comment that was unkind. So read along and if there is anyone who is offended, I’m sorry. I can only hope you’ll tell me so in a civil manner. I fully support your right to do so.

  3. I am soooo happy you reblogged this! I can’t believe I missed it the first time around. My apologies, Michael! Also, I think a ninja riding a stegosaurus would be epic! I am not, however, a fan of snarky remarks unless they are said in jest. It sounds like this one wasn’t, and that’s too bad. In my opinion, we all have our beliefs and our own sense of propriety.

If there was a post of mine that someone disagreed with, I would be more than happy to exchange comments to learn why the person felt as they did. You are right, Penny, there is no reason to be uncivil. If doing that crosses someone’s mind, they are better off to move on.

In that spirit, I’m going to reblog your reblog!

  4. Great post. I have said it before, this is your corner of the internet you post what you feel. Who cares what some people think. Jealousy is a terrible trait. Keep going……….

      1. Not a problem. I just feel that people should be able to produce what they like on their own site. All these keyboard warriors have nothing better to do with their time than criticise. By all means have a debate put your view across but nastiness, there is enough in the world without senseless criticism. Peace and love people. We are all in the same boat we are not going to get out of this journey called life alive so we may has well make the world a happier place.
