I’m just the medium to get the story on the page.
That’s truly what it feels like sometimes. This is the Best kind of writing. Sometimes the words just flow from my head to the page. What ends up on the page is as much a surprise to me as it is to you! The end result is a rush. A high. My drug of choice.

If you haven’t experienced Jason’s blog at Harsh Reality, you are missing a real treat. Jason blogs about his life. What’s happening in it, or what’s pissing him off that day. You never know what to expect. His posts are raw, real and irreverent. He will also occasionally surprise his audience with beautiful poetry! Jason’s blog is one of my favorites because I know I can always count on him to be honest, no matter what is happening in his life. Please take a few minutes to look at his site. I promise you will come away, not only delighted, but often shaking your head in bewilderment. A real treat, I assure you. Enjoy!
It’s a miracle that I got any writing done this weekend. It seems that every time I turned around, I was looking at something else that needed to be done at the house. But I did my best to stay focused and was able to punch out several more pages!
My story is continuing to amaze and delight me. It has developed twists that I never saw coming. I hope the readers will see it that way too!
The story has turned out to be much darker than I originally thought it was going to be. Which is a pretty big surprise for me. I knew I wanted suspense, but this? Wow! I’m starting to ask myself “where did that come from?”.
So I wanted to keep you, my Sweet Cheerleader Squad, posted as to my progress. I’m hanging in there! I may not win any races, but in the end I’m going to have a damned good story! And that is a small miracle! 🙂
