Welcome to another Friday Favorite! Each week, I’ll bring you information about a blog/blogger that I follow and why they are a favorite of mine. This week, I’d like to introduce you to The Mad Chatter. Be sure to visit her blog and it may become a favorite of yours too!
I think that The Mad Chatter (Jessica) is a fairly new friend/blogger of mine. I’m not sure exactly how or why we connected, but I’m sure glad that we did. Jessica isn’t afraid to poke a little fun at herself, while getting her points across. She’s an advocate for Mental Health issues and ending those stigmas. These are just a few reasons why I enjoy her blog.
Like mine, The Mad Chatter’s blog is quite varied. She writes what she wants to write and posts what she wants to post. As it Should Be!! I love HER POST “Gray Matter” where she talks about the variety of her posts.
The Mad Chatter has a page devoted to Mental Health. Go HERE to see it. I guarantee, there is food for thought on this page.
The Mad Chatter has a page on HUMOR, one on POETRY and a variety of other topics. I love THIS POST that she did about the intelligence of an octopus.
All in all, Jessica’s blog, The Mad Chatter has a lot to offer! Be sure to spend some time exploring this entertaining, and enlightening blog! You’ll discover a new friend and a favorite too!

My goal, each Friday, is to bring you a little information about a Favorite Blogger of mine. Check them out and they may just become a favorite of yours too!
Chuck, at The Reluctant Poet is a favorite blogger of mine for several reasons. Welcome to Friday Favorites! Each Friday, I will share with you a little about one of my favorite blogs/blogger. This week I would like to tell you about Walt Page.
Walt’s blog, is filled with beautiful poetry and other writings that will be sure to melt your heart and tug at your heartstrings.
Walt is married to (if you read the way he writes about her) the love of his life. His poetry is filled with expressions of his love for his wife and the life they have made for each other. THIS is an example of such beauty.
Walt is a bit of a hippy (I say that with love, Walt) and was a drummer in a rock band at one time.
Walt now lives in the country with his beloved wife, their dogs, horses and a quiet country life that he treasures. Some of his writings include these loves.
Be sure to spend some time on Walt’s Blog, browsing through his posts. You’ll be glad that you did and glad to connect with Walt. He’s a treasure.

Welcome to the 2nd installment of my Friday Favorites! This is where I share with you some information about a Favorite Blog that I follow. I have many many favorites. Today’s favorite is Minnesota Prairie Roots
If you’ve not discovered Audrey’s amazing blog, you’re missing out!! Minnesota Prairie Roots is a collection of observations of rural life done by not only in word, but also by Audrey’s beautiful photography. She explores the back roads and the off-the-beaten-track spots in Southern Minnesota.
The landscape in Audrey’s “back yard” can vary from desolate to picturesque through her sharp eye and camera lens. She speaks eloquently of the sometimes overlooked simple pleasures of small town life. She may write about a colorful flea market or a day on the road to her favorite hamburger joint. Regardless, you will love being along for the ride! Her posts are full of a richness you can feel.
THIS will give a taste of Audrey’s Beautiful photography and her beloved Minnesota that she writes about.
I love Audrey’s blog for many reasons. One reason is because of her stand against Domestic Abuse. She’s writes articles regularly on the subject. One such post on the subject can be seen HERE.
Audrey has always been kind, encouraging and greatly supportive to me since I connected with her on WordPress. She’s a person I proudly consider a friend.
So be sure to visit Minnesota Prairie Roots today and show Audrey some love. Browse through her posts and amazing photography. You’ll be glad you did!

My very first favorite is Trent’s World (The Blog)

Trent does a Weekly Smile piece that is always fun to check out and participate in. Trent is a very active blogger and participates in a number of prompts and challenges here.
Trent now has 4 books in print and 5th one coming soon! He’s a prolific writer who weaves colorful and imaginative stories. You can check out his book titles and descriptions HERE.

Next Friday, Playing Favorites Friday #2. Be sure to watch for it! 🙂
My time on WordPress has been sporadic lately and I went looking for Paul’s blog because I had not seen him in a while. I just found out about his passing today. So incredibly sad and such a huge loss to all he came into contact with. Paul was always very kind and supportive of me. His poetry was unconventional, often thought-provoking and often quite moving. He was an incredible talent. His passing has affected me more deeply than I thought possible, considering the fact that he was someone I had never met in person. He will be greatly missed.
For all who have not heard, the poetry community lost an incredible man yesterday. His son writes, “It is with deep regret that I have to announce the sudden passing of my father Paul Lenzi. He was the cornerstone of our family and will be missed dearly. He began this blog as an a creative […]
via Thank you, Paul Lenzi… RIP dear friend — Night Owl Poetry – Dorinda Duclos
I had a Dear friend express concern over a previous post. Fear not, my Dear, Sweet friends. I am Just Fine and my world is just as it should be. 🙂
I’m quite happy with my life. I wake up each day Ready to start the day and I look forward to what lay ahead.

Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!
Bill was driving the truck along a dirt road when he spotted him. He whistled and the kitten came to meet him. He went to all of the nearby homes to see who might be missing a kitten. No one claimed him. The poor thing was abandoned in the woods and was hungry and thin, but he wasn’t scared. All I knew was that Bill drove into the driveway with a kitten. Little did I know that this was the be the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
