Promise Me the Sea

I want sunrises
with salt
on your lips and
me in your arms.

I want passions
on the sand;
our skin tanned
from the sun
and wet from the surf.

The rush of the tide
to match our
desires.

Let me see
tomorrow
in your eyes

Promise me
the sea.

    1. That means a lot to me coming from you, Audrey. I respect and admire Your talent. Thank you so much!
      I’ve got a few more pieces out for submissions and am compiling poems for a possible Chapbook. So… Onward!
