Endless Summer

You smelled of
Patchouli

The Stones were on
the turntable

Smoke
was in the air

Boone's Farm Strawberry was
the flavor of your kisses

That summer,
endless

Our youth, more powerful
than we ever knew

We were bulletproof
and would live forever

Tomorrow
was a given
