Out My Window

out my window
the world continues
as if nothing ever happened
between us

there is no hint
of what was
left unsaid

should haves
and
what ifs
crowd my
speculation

different choices
always in hindsight

would you change
your tune
our fitting together?

dreams take flight
piece by piece
falling to the ground

tomorrows shattered

out my window
is another day

another
rotation of the earth
for me to navigate
without you

  1. Very moving…
    “another
    rotation of the earth
    for me to navigate

This verse especially is heartbreaking 💕
