An Endless Dream

*My buddy Chuck over at The Reluctant Poet and I collaborated
on this poem. I hope you enjoy our efforts.

RELIVING AND CELEBRATING
MOMENTS AND MEMORIES
FROM THE PAST

THE BEST ONES
NEVER FADED
BUT FRAYED
FROM REMEMBERING
YOU AND US

IMAGININGS
OF THE FUTURE
AND THE PAST
COME TO ME

WHAT
MIGHT HAVE BEEN
AND WHAT MIGHT BE,
MERGING
IN AN ENDLESS LOOP

THAT BEGINS EACH NIGHT,
WITH REMINISCING
AND WISHES OF US IN A
NEVER ENDING DREAM
