Reason to Smile

He smiles
to himself

remembering the
moments shared

his smile reflects
a lifetime
of laughter & tears
pleasure and pain

his skin remembers
her touch

his soul remembers
her love

although she's gone
nothing
can take away
the reason
for his smile
