The Reluctant Poet

By Penny Wilson And Charles Robert Lindholm

Deep asleep
and dreaming

The vision
of your face

Came to me
last night

With sweet lips smiling
and your eyes sparkling

You came to
hold my hand
and walk with me
down memory lane

I felt your touch
and saw our love

I can’t wait until
the dreams end
and we can be
together again

Dancing with the angels

where we have a
never ending future
to share
