#NaPoWriMo-Day 29-Darkness-Reprised

Materializing
from the deep darkness
of a hollowing
sadness

Insistent
and desperate

This lifeless
labyrinth
born of an
aching emptiness

and broken pieces
you left
behind

has not
stopped me
from
seeking the light

*I must give credit to Chuck at the Reluctant Poet for this reprisal. He saw a brighter version of what was once a very dark poem. Thank you for your help and encouragement, Chuck.  ❤
