#NaPoWriMo-Day 14-A Gift From Yesterday

A small seashell
lay in her palm

She kept it close
as she dreamed
of the sea

It whispered
its secret message
of New beginnings

The shell,
a gift from
yesterday

Close the door
to old endings
it said

Set them free
