Under the Willow

Kisses
under the willow

shadows
dapple your smile

fragrant grasses
cradle us

the wind
whispers
caressing the skin

embraces
declare our love

my heart sings
with your touch

  1. Such a lovely poem. What’s your writing process for something like this? Does it come out in a rush or do you edit a lot? Would be really interested to know.

    1. It varies a lot. I’ve found that if it comes out in a rush, even if I’m happy and excited about it, I step away from it for a while. If I do that, when I come back to it, I always find a way to improve on what I’ve done.
Thank you for the lovely comment and for your visit! 🙂
