Ladders In The Sky

Fleeing 
I erect ladders 
in the sky  

Despair 
reaches for me 

wearing me 
threadbare  

Once I reach 
the top 
I will go 
where the wind 
blows  

In my pockets 
I take 
only 
fairy dust  

Prepared 
for the future
