Existence

Mere existence
pales
the eyes

weeping their color
onto
worn steps

Recoiling from
breath
to diminish
subsistence

Existence
has become

trivial
parody

  1. Sadly it certainly has. Not sure if you meant this but your words hold such resonance with everything happening right now. To me, your words signify how so many in society see everyone other than themselves…as trivial.. Its a very sad state of affairs.

Bravo, Penny… well well done 🙂
