Penny Wilson Writes has gone through several transformations since it’s beginning. At the end of the year, the end of a decade, we all tend to look back and reflect. The last decade has seen the Biggest changes in my life. The. Biggest. My decision to move from Oregon to Texas, was the hardest decision I ever made, and it was the best decision I ever made. Words that come to mind when I think about the life that I have now are Thankful, Grateful and Blessed.
My time here on WordPress is included as one of those Blessings. Writing is an outlet for me, a way to express myself and the events in my life. The community here has been so supportive! Your encouragement gives me the courage to put myself out there, when in the past, I would have never dreamed of publishing anything I’ve written!
Overall, 2019 was a good year for me. I’ve continued to make improvements on my little house. I had the attic insulated in March. So I am toasty warm this winter. 🙂 I recently had a new privacy fence built around the parameter of my back yard. This will not only make me feel better (privacy), but it will add value to the house.
Below is a terrible before and after picture of my back yard.
I also installed new flooring in my tiny bathroom. It took 2 days of crawling around on my hands and knees, but I think that it came out pretty. Picture below.
Looking ahead to the new year, I’m not one to make resolutions. I don’t stick to them anyway. But I do plan on continuing to make improvements on my house. Maybe new gutters this coming year. I still have LOTS of painting to do on the interior. So I won’t be bored for along time.
Penny Wilson Writes will continue to change and evolve, just as we all change and evolve. Because there is “A Bit of Me in Every Key Stroke”.
I wish all of you a Happy New Year. May this coming year be filled with Blessings for you and your loved ones.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. ❤ Penny

Have a great New Year Penny and wonderful 2020.
I have a few more years in Silicon Valley and then my top 2 candidate locations to retire are Las Vegas or Texas. Austin would be number one choice in Texas as I spent a lot of time in that city when working for AMD. Great music and food. Great city. I may have to get some advice from you if/when I explore that area further. Enjoy your New Year’s Eve. 🙂

Thanks, Forrest. If you end up in the Lone Star Star State, maybe we can both play tourist! I’ve never been to Austin. Happy New Year Forrest. 🙂 ❤
