Wish on the Stars

We wished on the stars 

A cosmic canopy 
for our dreams
 
The Milky Way poured down 
crystalline honey 
sweetening our
amorous play. 

We swam 
in the moonlight's pool 
of love 

each swept away 
in the starry universe 
of the other's eyes.
