Heart’s Desire

I justify
what my heart

The anticipation
an aphrodisiac

Your scent

Drunk with yearning
You tempt me

and again

Not forbidden

but remorse
pangs me

As your sweetness
passes my

Angel and demon

You have taken

yet again
