Under the Stars

The twinkling stars
shine down on you.

Do you have a favorite
you wish upon too?

Mine is that little one,
I think it might be flawed.

It's the one I watch
when I talk to God.

My wish for you
on this cool, clear night

That you're showered with
love and God's guiding light.

No matter where you
roam in this big
world of ours

You'll always be
under my same
set of stars.

*I don't often write rhyming poetry. But the first two
verses of this one came to me and rhymed so beautifully that I
just had to make the entire poem rhyme. I hope you enjoyed it.
