The search
never ending

you were at my fingertips
once

and slipped away

I found you in a smile
or so I thought

My illusions
tease me

Your image
like waves on asphalt
in summer

Your voice
whispers
in the shadows

waking me

Breezes
carries a scent
of you

I pursue

Your touch
I miss
most

    1. Thank you, Chuck!! I’m cheating a little. 🙂 I’ve been very busy lately, trying to write my WIP, working, etc. So my blog has suffered. I’ve been revisiting some of my older works for inspiration and reworking some of them that spark me. So glad you liked this. Thank you for the visit, Dear Friend!! ❤ ❤ ❤
