Living in the Light

brushed away the cobwebs

The demons
once more pushed back

The spiral

Feet on the ground
moving forward
tentative steps

Light caresses my cheek

The sun
a blessing

Out of the shadows
encasing this heart

To live
in the light once more

Every line! But in particular, “Out of the shadows” and that image, fabulous.
