Living in the Light

Hope 
brushed away the cobwebs

The demons
emerging
once more pushed back

The spiral
stopped

Feet on the ground
moving forward
tentative steps

Light caresses my cheek

The sun
a blessing

Out of the shadows
encasing this heart

To live
in the light once more
