Moonbeams at my back I sweep stardust from my eyes Once inebriated with thirst with lust Now Firefly in a jar The once resplendent blaze feeble weak Longing for lustrous heavens To light the way home Chill of night permeates spent loves spent lovers The stars sigh Resigned to their fate Copyright © 2019 Penny Wilson
