I was going to save this for my Friday Good New Challenge, but I feel that it’s just too important to hold the information.
So many children are struggling today. Bullying, drugs, peer pressure, mass shootings, and on and on. There IS a place for kids to turn. They can be completely anonymous if they want to.
There is a Website called Kids Help Phone. Kids can call, chat or text with someone. If they just need someone to talk to, maybe they are struggling with a situation with a friend, a boyfriend, a situation at school, abuse at home, whatever the case may be. They can call
1-800-668-6868 or they can text 686868 to text someone. There is also a live chat app that you can find out about on their website.
Their situation doesn’t have to be life-threatening, (suicide, abuse) sometimes we all just need someone to talk to. Just MAKE THE INFORMATION AVAILABLE. You don’t have to lecture. The kids will take it from there if they have access to it.
Check out this important resource HERE, today.
