Offensive Ache

Tormented fingers
race
across the keyboard

Release sought
from unrelenting
thoughts

Agonizing assault
ignored

Pain denied

Cascade of words
flow
from tormented digits

Satiated deliverance
once more
achieved

    1. Thank you, Audrey. I learned all of those old-fashioned handcrafts, back in the day. My mom taught to embroider when I was very young. I still dabble in it to this day. A lost art form. I also taught myself to crochet when I was a teen. So along with the typing, I give my digits quite a bit of abuse. 🙂

  1. Oh I love this one! Thankfully, I can’t relate; no arthritis here… however, my poor fingers often can’t KEEP UP with my brain! I guess in time then they will become sore and painful as they work so hard to keep up 🙂
