Kaleidoscope

I’ll take your breath away as I enter the room.

I don’t want to draw attention to myself.

I stand on my soapbox and preach my causes.

I stick my head in the sand and ignore the pain of the chaos around me.

I am all these things.

I revel in the spotlight and howl at the moon.

I find peace in solitude and identify with the cry of the lone wolf.

I want to be included & acknowledged.

I would rather spend my evenings at home.

I am all these things.

I am demure and shy.

I am raunchy and outspoken.

I back away from overt advances.

I flirt shamelessly.

I am all these things.

I am all these things and more.  I am a kaleidoscope of emotions and attitudes; a patchwork of my past; a variegated trial of my future.  Don’t judge me and don’t try to figure me out.  Because as soon as you do, you’ll see me differently.
