Rocket at the Keyboard, Again

*Rocket has convinced me to let him do another blog post.  His last one was well received and I think the little guy got a bit of a big head over it. (Don’t tell him that I said that!)  This time, I told Rocket that I would type the post for him.  Although for a little dog, he does a fine job, he just doesn’t have the dexterity in his paws, so it takes him quite a Long time.  Below is Rocket’s post.  Rocket and I hope you enjoy it.

Hello all!  I’m so glad my mommy let me do another post on her blog thingy.  For those of you out there that missed that first post and would like to read it, you can find it HERE.    Also, for those of you that are still catching up, the picture above is of me!  If you happen to see me on the sidewalk with my mom, be sure to say hi!

There have been times when my celebrity-ness is a little too much, even for me!  So Mom has me go incognito sometimes.

I used to have a Face Book page but Mom deleted it.  She deleted hers too.  She said it was for security reasons.  But I think it was because I had more Friends than she did!  🙂  I try real hard to keep up appearances for my fans.  Below, you can see me trying to even out my tan.  I never can seem to get it just right!

This last weekend was busy for me and Mom.  First she took me to Petco, where Darlene and Laura always fight over who gets to clip my nails.  I tell you, it’s not easy being a celebrity!  But I put up with it.  After my nails are done, Mom and I usually walk around the store so that I can smell all the new smells there!  So fun!  Sometimes, Mom will buy my TREATS there or maybe even a TOY.  But this last time Mom said that I had too many toys at home!  I don’t know why she would say that!!!

After Petco, Mom and I went to the Car Washing Place.  This time, we STAYED IN THE CAR when it went into that washing tunnel!  For a minute I was pretty scared when the windows got all wet and soapy.  Then those big brushes went round & round & round, swishing all over the car!!  These big wet floppy finger looking things flopped and plopped all over the car too!!  But Mom kept talking to me and petting me and pretty soon, I knew she wouldn’t let anything hurt me.  Whew!  I made it out of there ok, but for a minute I wondered if we were gonna be alright!

Mom makes me stay home when she goes out sometimes.  It makes me very sad.  I wait and I wait for her to come home.  Then I nap.

Sometimes after Mom comes home, she has me go out with her while she unloads the car.  She brings in all these bags.  I go in and out of the house with her.  Back & forth from the car to the house, from the car to the house again and again.  She tells me what a Good Boy I am and thanks me for Helping her!  Then I get a TREAT!  🙂

We went for a few walks on the weekend too!  It’s fun to go down the street with Mom.  I get to pee on all kinds of new things that I haven’t peed on before!!  Then I get to smell all kinds of cool new smells!  I try to run off those Darn Squirrels that show up during our walks, but Mom says I can’t get off the leash!  If I could, I would sure show those guys!!

At home on the weekends, I hang out with Mom on the couch and I nap.  She sometimes gives me a BATH on the weekends!!  YUCK!  😦

Mom tells me that I’m rambling and that I need to wrap it up.  So I will say Goodbye!  I hope you enjoyed my post!

  1. Walter and Greta want to offer their services as guard dogs. Of course, it comes with a price. They need a tiny dog to get into all of those little spaces where the cats hide! ❤️ 🐾 ❤️
