The valley began the day in hushed anticipation as the sun rose.
The fog, not yet lifted, lay like a child’s blanket over the expanse.
The sun touched the sky, gently kissing it with nursery colors of pinks and blues.
The promise of the day.
Breaths held; waiting for the warming embrace of the morning.
As the sun filled the sky, the valley once again began its morning songs, welcoming the miracle of another day.

* Sue’s beautiful photo really spoke to me. It made me think of New Beginnings and rebirth. The pinks and blues made me think of babies. This is in response to Sue Vincent’s Thursday #writephoto prompt and the prompt word, Valley. If you would like to get in on the weekly fun, you can check out Sue’s post HERE.
Very nice, Penny! Thank you also for your comment on ‘The Old Red Barn’! ♥

I was thinking as I viewed the beautiful and peaceful photo and read the writing that is like a song of love that comes from within those special places about our lives and how like that photo they are at some point. There is a brief moment in time when our lives are full of this new birth and soft colors; and when everything we see, feel and think is a miracle. What would life be like if this feeling could go on and on and on forever every day in our lives?

Each new day brings hope…unless it’s a Monday. Monday’s always bring a fresh hell.

It’s wonderful that you can take something that happens every, and we often take for granted, and then describe it in an amazingly beautiful way. Thank you.
