Promise

Pluck the petals from my hair

As sunlight smiles

Down on us.

Summer’s laughter still

heard through the trees.

Take my hand.

No promise

Of tomorrow.

Today, with you

Is enough.

    1. Thanks Michael. I’ve had one poem published by an online journal. I’m not sure if that’a what you meant. Next week, I think, I will have a piece of Flash Fiction published by the same journal. I’ve been toying with the idea of a book of poetry or possibly a “blog” book.
Is that what you were talking about?
