1000 Followers!

I clearly remember the day that I reached 100 followers on WordPress and how excited I was.  Having over 1000 followers now blows my mind!

Although I’ve been blogging for about 6 years, I didn’t take it to heart until May of 2017.  At that time I had around 300 followers.  Certainly nothing to write home about.

In May, I decided that I needed to write more so I challenged myself to do a post a day for the month.   From that jumping off point, my blog following has grown at a very steady (and surprising) rate.  I no longer post every day.  I would say it’s a few times a week.

I have found that my writing has become a release for me.  Writing is therapeutic and a Huge, positive, and important part of my life.

Those of you that are looking to grow your following, I have Just One major piece of advice.  Be nice.  It’s that simple.  Visit other blogs, comment, follow, share and answer comments.

In the coming months, I plan on making some changes to my blog.  I think the changes will make accessing specific topics easier.  I hope you will all come along with me for the ride.  I’ll keep you posted.

I want to thank Every Single One of you for following me.  You’ve made something that I love into something Fantastic in my life!  THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!

    1. Thank you and good morning! Try this…
When I first log into WordPress, one of the first things I see is my Reader Feed. From that, on the top Left Hand side of the page, click on My Sites. Down just a little way, you’ll see Stats. Click on that. You’ll see a Graph. At the top of that Graph window, you will see 2 words, Traffic and Insights. Click on Insights. About 1/2 way down on the right side of the page you will see Follower Totals. The total of your WordPress Followers, Email followers and Social Medial followers, is your Total Followers!
I hope this makes sense. Let me know. Good luck and thank you for stopping by! 🙂
